FPGA Engineer

FPGA Engineer | Sunnyvale | Onsite | FTE | Salary: $150k - $190k per year

Must-haves:

• 5-8 years of FPGA experience
• Strong Xilinx FPGA experience
• Experience owning FPGA projects from architecture/design through production
• Real-time systems, serial communication, and Ethernet protocols
• Ability to work closely with both software and electrical engineering teams

Nice-to-haves:

• PCB design experience
• Software development experience
• Mixed-signal / analog-digital system exposure

What the candidate will work on in the first 6 months:

• Next-generation platform redesign (their current e-beam lithography machine is getting a new iteration, so the candidate will be working on that.
• Heavy architecture and new development work (80% new design / 20% support)
• Custom serial communications and real-time data systems
